There was a good turnout for the rearranged Track Prize Presentation which took place at Lyme RC Clubroom on Friday 17th January 2014. Thanks must go to Lyme RC for kindly letting the Association use their club night to present the awards. As well as the below awards there were bunches of flowers handed out to Sue Robinson ( treasurer) Nesta Stubbs ( signing on and refreshments) and Sue Jones ( Presentation Organiser and judge) for all their help given to league organiser Chris Pyatt last year.
The nights also saw the awarding of the Roy Swinnerton Memorial 10 Mile scratch trophy which was contested on the fianl night of the league. The winner Jack Escritt was unable to attend on the night so teammate Will Thomas accepted it on his behalf. Thanks goes to Paul Swinnerton who sponsored this event.
Thanks also goes to league sponsor Tony Brooks of Brooks Cycles for his continued support of the league and Neil Potter who sponsors the 50m Handicap competition. Finally thanks goes to all officials and volenteers of the league which have assisted in its smooth running in 2013.
This years was again successful with good attendances each week and it is hoped that the new league which starts on the 1st may will be even more successful.
